Item Espaços não formais na disciplina química ambiental estudo de caso em Parintins/AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2013-02-22) Rodríguez, Arelis Abalos; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes deThe environmental chemistry course that is part of the optional content of the Chemistry graduation course at the Centro de Estudos Superiores de Parintins - CESP, introduces the student to knowledge of the environment, in such a way that they will be able to identify the main sources of local contamination, as well as possible solutions. The material for the bases of the environmental subjects for developing different analytical techniques isn’t always available and, on the other hand, the real spaces that reflect a particular environmental situation make up an ideal place for studying the content of this subject. The chemistry lab at CESP doesn’t have all the requirements for experimental work in the Environmental Chemistry course, however, the city has diverse spaces that can beused for it. In this study, as its object, we used for the first time the polluted spaces of the city of Parintins, in Amazonas State, as environmental laboratories and debating spaces for the development of theoretical and practical Environmental Chemistry course content in the Chemistry course. Four contamination hotspots were selected for the teaching of the content: the city dump; the municipal slaughter house; the Santa Luzia and União districts and the Macurany lake. The design of work is shown using the municipal slaughter house. Evaluating the Positive and Interesting criteria shown by the students, it can be noted that the experience of using non-formal spaces or scenarios for developing the content of CESP’s Environmental Chemistry course proportions unrest and encourages interest in getting to know more about the environmental problems of the city in which they live in and encourages them to take better care of the spaces that surround them. It was based on the study of geomorphology, in the specific case of local relief, as well as by fluvial geomorphology in the analysis of water resources. However, river processes in the Amazon are part of the reality of the residents, who sometimes live with major changes in the physical landscape, which often interfere with their daily lives. The research was based on data collected on site, which supported the work, with the description of erosive agents acting on site and through the explanation of residents. The study used the technique of bathymetry, to highlight the points that most affect the erosion of the margins. It was concluded that the parana of Ramos is altered by erosive process with the action of natural factors, but accelerated by the anthropic action. Another identified factor is that the river channel is the result of tectonic faults that act on the river dynamics, causing the phenomenon of “fallen lands” through hydraulic pressure. The joint action of these factors has major socio-environmental implications for the place.Item O lúdico como ferramenta de ensino: uma proposta metodológica para as aulas de geografia(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-12-06) Pimentel, Artur Xavier; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes de; Jacaúna, Carmen Lourdes Freitas dos Santos; Azevedo Filho, João D'Anúzio Menezes deThis monograph is the result of an analysis of the contribution of play in the teaching and learning process in Geography classes. To carry out this work, two types of research were used: bibliographical research and field research. The bibliographical research, which also served as support for the realization and interpretation of the data obtained in the field research, was based on authors with extensive academic production on the subject of this study, such as: SANTOS (1997), PASSINI (2007) , PIAGET (1975) among others. The field research had its foundation in the application of a questionnaire destined to Geography teachers from 06 (six) schools, being these from the municipal, state and federal network and one from the private school network in the municipality of Parintins in the State of Amazonas. The teaching process requires the teacher to look for new ways and resources to achieve the proposed objectives in the classroom. The implementation of classes as the new, such as games, theaters, music and other recreational resources, constitutes something of great relevance in the teaching/learning process for Geography classes, and allows for a new related theoretical-methodological proposal to that field of approach. Through the results obtained through this research, it was possible to see how relevant it is for the Geography professor to provide situations where students can participate creatively, challenging discovery, the desire to want to learn something new and to value everything that is learned.Item O processo de ocupação do bairro do Palmares e os problemas ambientais nas margens do Rio Macurany, Parintins – AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-12-06) Silva, Greice Fragata da; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes de; Jacaúna, Carmen Lourdes Freitas dos Santos; Barbosa, Tatiana da Rocha; Azevedo Filho, João D'Anuzio M. deThe present work presents the results of the research that deals with “the occupation process of the Palmares neighborhood and the environmental problems on the banks of the Macurany River, Parintins –AM”. With the objective of understanding the process of occupation of the Palmares neighborhood, in the urban area of Parintins, exclusively the residents who occupy the shore of Lake Macurany and the impacts resulting from this occupation. Urban space brings with it the contradictions arising from the unequal way of appropriating its space. The wealthiest social groups occupy noble, valued areas, while the banks of rivers, hillsides, waterlogged valleys, etc. are left over for the poorest and most underserved. The work was developed through qualitative research with a dialectical approach, requiring the application of open questionnaires to residents. The results demonstrate, therefore, the construction of space and its occupation occurs due to several factors resulting from the urbanization process of a city, where the rural population begins to move towards the city, in search of better living conditions, characterizing a migratory movement, to the outskirts of the city, promoting the environmental degradation of the place. It is necessary to think about the city in order to direct populations, both resulting from vegetative growth and rural exodus, to more appropriate places with the necessary infrastructure, made possible by public policies.Item Relação dos moradores da comunidade menino Deus com o Lago do comprido na ilha do Paraná de Parintins - AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-12-06) Costa, Deyse Pereira da; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes de; Azevedo Filho, João D'Anuzio M. de; Oliveira, Rildo Marques deThe uniqueness of the riverside people endowed with traditional knowledge and producers of a socio-environmental relationship established by the struggle for the protection and preservation of natural resources is recognized by the importance of the actions developed that minimize the destruction of the forest, ensuring the reproduction of new species of flora and fauna of the Várzea ecosystem. The present work was carried out on the island of Paraná de Parintins, belonging to the rural area of the municipality of Parintins/AM, with the main objective of understanding the relationship between riverside dwellers in the Paraná de Parintins/AM community with the Comprido lake. This is justified, as it seeks to understand the importance of the man/nature relationship, especially the riverside of Várzea with Lake Comprido, knowing the social importance of organizational practices aimed at the preservation of natural resources located in the island's lakes of Paraná de Parintins. Methodologically, the hypothetical-deductive method has as a rule the observation of reality and the need to find its roots, seeking to understand each part of its object of study, its analysis, until its mechanisms and complexity are revealed, what we call synthesis . Bibliographic research is intended to provide resources that help the researcher in direct contact with everything that has been previously published. Field Research, represents the researcher's direct contact with the studied object, consists of the observation of facts and phenomena, where the researcher knows the researched reality, being the moment to articulate theory and practice. During the course of the research, ten residents were interviewed, seven men and three women, with open and closed questionnaires, in addition to relaxed dialogue, where the researcher records the information, without interfering, allowing the researcher to perceive what the researched subjects think, they know, represent, do and argue. In the interpretation and identification of the lakes, the methodology of the mental map was used, because in cartography, it refers to the knowledge that every individual has of the lived space. From this information, a map of the place was created using GIS software (geographical information system). Thus, we sought to understand the relationship that residents of Paraná de Parintins have with the lakes in the study area, verifying the problems arising from this relationship.Item Terras caídas e seus impactos na sedimentação do leito do Paraná do Ramos Parintins - AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-12-06) Ribeiro, Estevão de Souza; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes de; Jacaúna, Carmen Lourdes Freitas dos Santos; Marques, Rildo OliveiraThe dynamic river of the Amazon river is characterized by the constant transformation of their margins, either by erosion, by sediment transport or sedimentation. The present work aims to investigate the origin of the phenomena of erosion occurring on the slope of the Paraná do Ramos and the effects that they cause in the study area. The study area presents a landscape that is in constant modifications and that for a very long time comes a calling attention by the transformational processes that modify the landscape, geomorphological, mainly by the phenomenon of land sagging and sedimentation of waterway. To validate the research, surveys have been conducted on bibliography on the subject in the region, the analysis of satellite image in time series, measurements of hydrodynamics such as speed, flow, and longitudinal profile of the channel, with use of echo sounder digital, flutuares plastic, vessel, regional, tape measure, stopwatch, camera and GPS, in the field activities. With this, through the results obtained, gave him to understand that the erosive processes occurring within the study area, causing impacts to both the population resident in the area as well as for the transport, showing that the area through these processes, is gaining a facelift in geomorphology.Item Terras caídas e suas implicações para a comunidade São José do Paraná do Espírito Santo de Cima em Parintins - AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-12-17) Jacaúna, Brenno Tavares; Azevedo Filho, João D’Anúzio Menezes de; Azevedo Filho, João D'Anuzio Menezes de; Marques, Rildo OliveiraIn the current literature, fallen land is a regional denomination scientifically attributed to the process of river erosion. Although it occurs in all rivers of the Amazon basin, the phenomenon is more attributed to white water rivers, which the main representative is the Amazon River. Despite being a phenomenon linked to river dynamics, fallen lands occur due to a complex system of factors ranging from the natural to anthropogenic factors. The changes provided by fallen lands do not occur only on river banks. They also imply social impacts in which the risk of death is a reality. The present work aimed to characterize the phenomena of the fallen lands in the community of São José do Paraná, Espírito Santo de Cima, in the municipality of Parintins-Am. In order to achieve the proposed objective, the following methodological procedures were followed: bibliographic survey on the theme; field visit to record the fallen lands in the area; interview with some residents; It was also made the bathmetry, as much of the Amazon River as of Paraná. The results show that the fallen lands in the study area involve systemic work of different factors ranging from natural ones, such as: river dynamics, climate, soil type, to anthropogenic factors such as: toilets from the vessels and the withdrawal. Of the bank vegetation. As for the implications, the loss of residents' properties stands out; risk of damage to vessels anchored near ravines; migration to the city; difficulty boarding and disembarking and risk of death
