Item Educação ambiental e os temas contemporâneos da BNCC: estudo a partir das toadas do festival folclórico de Parintins(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-05-05) Barbosa, Jamerson Orlando Albuquerque; Santos, Elizabeth da ConceiçãoEnvironmental Education plays a fundamental role in the formulation of a new mentality, in a more specific way, education for consumption is a key element in the awareness of the population being in Basic Education, where it can be worked more effectively. Aiming to analyze the importance of the toadas of the Parintins Folk Festival for the treatment of contemporary themes proposed by the National Common Curriculum Base, a survey of the data was carried out in the period from 2010 to 2015 of the Bois-Bumbás Caprichoso e Garantido that contemplate the systemic view of the Environmental Issue. The study was based on a qualitative approach that involved bibliographic research according to Santos (1999) based on the analysis of the proposal of National Curriculum Guidelines for Environmental Education and the National Common Curriculum Base, contemplating the Contemporary Themes, followed by the selection and analysis of the written and disseminated acts, of the Parintins Folk Festival recommended for the formation of the citizen of the current world. It resulted in the survey of 134 toadas of Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso and 119 toadas of Boi-Bumbá Garantidos being 38 toadas of Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso that contained in their letters aspects addressing the systemic view of the environmental issue and 27 of Boi-Bumbá Garantido. After the selection of all, six toadas were chosen from each of the Bois-Bumbás, one of each year according to the established period, with the conception of environment as a system for the proposition of transversal activities. From the results obtained it was possible to evidence that cultural manifestations such as the Parintins Folk Festival and its toadas have unique importance in the formation of the student as a citizen therefore, the toadas serve as an attraction and as a tool for valuing regional culture, with potential for use in all areas of knowledge that correspond to Basic Education. The toadas allow society to understand the dimension of the environmental issue and thereby promote actions to combat contemporary environmental problems.
