It starts from a concern regarding the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio da Silva, a quilombola character, where we analyze his trajectory through the memories of the oldest residents of the quilombo Santa Tereza and the Pagoa nucleus, as well as the memories of his family members. We dialogue with authors in the field of social history of black people, in the post-abolition period and with the methodology of Oral History (ALBERTI, 2011). The experiences and reflections recorded in this article are based on studies such as Ranciaro (2016), Siqueira (2016) and Rocha (2019), which deal with the Quilombos of the Andirá River and their processes of ethnic, social and territorial recognition. Within this context of struggle, the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio was silenced in the processes of producing the genealogy of the quilombos of the Andirá River. Therefore, we consider it opportune to recover aspects of this subject's life, through the voices of people who shared the post-abolition worlds with this character and what reveres the trajectory of the old Manoel.Item Ensino da história: refletindo a partir da experiência do estágio docente(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2020-12-04) Tavares, Lincoln dos Santos; Carvalho, Mary Tânia dos Santos; Bianchezzi, Clarice; Medeiros, Mônica Xavier de; Silveira, Diedo Omar daThis study originated from the experiences of Supervised Internships in History where we discuss and articulate local history in classroom debate. With the objective of understanding how the occurrence of this craft occurs nowadays in that local community. We bring the narratives of these practices through interviews with three historical agents (two faith healers and one faith healer), using the procedures of Oral History as a technique, as a way of maintaining the dialogues that provided evidence of the dynamics of interactions between the social group that seeks in the said practice the cure for the ills of the body and soul. The contextualization of the work was based on a brief historical-cultural survey of the aforementioned practice, which is linked to the culture of ancient peoples who lived in the Amazon in ancient times, and who left a legacy of knowledge considered ancestral as: the knowledge of powerful prayers , of plants, herbs and roots that heal in this region. Finally, our results are surprising insofar as the voices of the interviewees themselves narrate the concern with the disappearance of the practice due to the death of healers and older healers without maintaining continuity with their younger family members for reasons ranging from lack of interest in learning the practice or non-contemplation of the "gift" to the decrease of people's faith, causing the decrease of their followers.Item Programa de novos talentos: experiências e práticas interdisciplinares em escolas públicas de Parintins - AM(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-07-25) Santos, Adriano Márcio dos; Eleutério, Célia Maria Serrão; Castro, Franklin Roosevelt Martins; Carvalho, Mary Tânia dos Santos; Silva, David Xavier daThis brief report presents the actions and interdisciplinary experiences developed within the framework of the CAPES New Talents Program in the teaching-learning process and the training of teachers and students in Basic Education in schools of the public network of the municipality of Parintins, Amazonas, through four groups of performance: a) Biology, Chemistry and Physics; b) Letters; c) Geography and History and d) Pedagogy. It has as objective to analyze the curricular knowledge that guide the Teaching of History at the time aimed at High School, as well as knowing what challenges emerge from this context for teaching local and regional history, considering characters and/or historical agents valued and not valued in the books by Arthur Reis (2001) originally published in 1965 and Manuel Callado (1999). The challenges of teaching Regional and Local History are highlighted, mainly in the current Brazilian educational context imbued with a neoliberal agenda. THE methodology walks through bibliographic esearch: in the two aforementioned books (oursources) and in curriculum theorists in the field of History Teaching. Our results point fundamental differences regarding the treatment given to these agents, that is, each context history demanded an effort to print, from a conjunctural perspective, the curricular contents that should be teachable in history books, as official curricula are not neutral bring in their core intentions, which mean exclusion, displacement, invisibilities of some themes or characters to value others. With the aim of understanding whether the entry of students into these institutions can be considered a mode of resistance indigenous. To structure the work, we used the bibliographic research in order to understand the intercultural and pluriethnic question that arises in the face of education indigenous as a form of resistance and empowerment. We support the approach qualitative, using the thematic Oral History as a technique for collecting information, applied to three indigenous collaborators/students from the respective universities, being the three belonging to the Sateré-Mawé ethnic group. The results show a slow look at the sensitivity to the issue of cultural differences, in particular for the indigenous people who want an intercultural and pluriethnic education.
