The present work reflects on the importance of studying the foreign words that are presente in the Portuguese Language called foreignisms, that is, the entry of other languages in Portuguesa Language, mainly the words of the English Language. Due to the Industrial Revolution that modernized the industries in that innovated the machines and improved the technnology, there was na increase in the use of the advertisements, brands and diverse products that influence the life of the Brazilian society, of the young people mainly since they are more that they are connected technnology and use these words in their daily lives.In certain situations, Brazilian society uses foreign words instead of using the words of its own language. It is noticeable this constant use in trade names, menus, in the stores the merchants use sale and off for promotions with that some words of the Portuguese Language fall into disuse. These merchants do not know the origin of the word, they know that is foreign, but it does not know the spelling as it is perceptible in some outdoors.To support the present work were used theorists as Bagno (2004), Bortoni-Ricardo (1984), Camara Jr (1989), Garcez; Zilles (2004) among other authors that composse the bibliographical references. This work of conclusion of the course presents the result of an intervention carried out in a high school of Parintins/AM, with the objective of verifying the knowledge of some linguistic loans na their influence in the spelling of the Portuguese Language students.
