Agricultura familiar em quintais peri urbanos: um estudo na comunidade de São Pedro do Parananema, no município de Parintins - AM

This study aims to analyze the importance of family farming in urban backyards, and identify the main characteristics of production, pointing out different types of creations and plantations, surveying residents who work in the practice of family farming in the Peri area. Urbana which is the community of São Pedro do Pararanema. In the locality, about 26 families use the practice of family farming, that is, the backyards produced are mixed between large and medium scale. To carry out this work, we sought as a subsidy the qualitative research for data collection. The work sought to clarify the importance of family farming in the community, which deserves to be investigated and analyzed. The work collected data through interviews and forms. Thus, it was found that all the families surveyed present the production of family farming, diversifying their urban backyards, with their own characteristics of plantations and creations. The production that is carried out by family farmers is shown to be for their own consumption, and to obtain additional income to help support the family. This work aimed to highlight the main form of production of backyards, maintained by family members in the urban Peri area of the city of Parintins, where the São Pedro do Parananema Community is located.
As dinâmicas socioculturais e ambientais na Agrovila do Mocambo

In recent decades, the rapid process of urbanization that has been transforming cities is also interfering in rural spaces, with its capitalist logic, building, destroying and rebuilding habits, causing substantial changes in the landscapes of rural areas and bringing serious consequences for populations that they live in these spaces. It is in this aspect that we justify our interest in analyzing the sociocultural and environmental changes in Agrovila do Mocambo, located in the rural area of the municipality of Parintins/AM. Just as the Mocambo agrovillage has undergone serious transformations in its socio-spatial organization, other neighboring communities are also showing changes that need attention from governments and scientific institutions, so that their developments are sustainable and healthy, always presenting equity in their social and territorial structure , highlighting alternatives for socio-environmental improvements in the face of new habits imposed by capitalism. The research was based on bibliographic readings of articles and theses already developed by several authors who were concerned with the aforementioned theme and also with contact with the object of study. The methodology we used to collect data were forms with socioeconomic, environmental and territorial issues, as well as socio-spatial interviews, informal conversations and participant observation. The research is qualitative in nature, using a dialectical approach, revealing that the changes that have taken place in Mocambo and other rural areas are the result of the close relationships, direct and indirect, that these communities establish with the city, bringing improvements, but also serious consequences for the environment, presenting dynamics and contradictions in its sociocultural and environmental spheres. In general terms, it is a research that aims to contribute to the knowledge of the specificities regarding the social, cultural and environmental structure inherent to the villages of Parintins, being of great importance for the correct development of these villages, trying to avoid problems that already affect the environment and the way of life of these inhabitants.

The gangs from the city of FaroPá, has been getting stronger for a long time as a cultural manifestation, becoming known for the unique way of dancing hillbilly as the gang is seen. Based on this premise, the present work had as main objective to analyze the main cultural transformations of the festival of square dances in the city of FaroPá, identifying the influences that contributed to the transformations. For this, it was necessary to perform a qualitative research, which sought to do an analysis based in the insertion of the researcher in the research area. The main strategy used to his insertion in the field was through his involvement, as a member of a gang in June. The selection of research subjects was based on their experience and involvement with the festival, due to a better contribution to the analysis, this led to delimitation in the two older gangs (Foliões da Madrugada and Campinense in Arraiá), after the collection of data and the analysis of the interviews, it was identified the main influences pointed out by the interviewees as: the ciranda of ManacapuruAm, Boi Bumb of Parintins Am and the use of technology at the party, which modernized the gangs and disseminated through the internet. In a contemporary context marked by the mass culture and globalization processes, with all the influences that seem typical of reality, it makes It is important to study the manifestations cultural in geographic space to understand the exchange of values between cultures different, a cultural circularity that transforms different meanings with the exchange of knowledge and coexistence, in which cultural geography provides subsidies for understanding society as its organization, focusing in the description and analysis of the variety of cultural phenomena Words
Relação rural e urbano entre as comunidades São Paulo, Nova Esperança, Pratinha e a cidade de Juruti-PA

This work sought to understand the relationships rural-urban, for this, our objective was to analyze the socioeconomic and cultural interactions existing between the communities of São Paulo, Nova Esperança and Pratinha and the city of Juruti - PA, in order to understand the existing and interdependencies relations between these localities. The research is characterized as qualitative and quantitative and, as techniques of data collection was done application of questionnaires, open and closed interviews. The data obtained from the forms were tabulated in a statistical program, Excel. This research was important since there turned out the existence of an imbrication between the communities and the city where the rural-urban relationship is evident in many characteristics found in these places. These bonds solidify and present themselves in rural areas and in urban areas, being developed by the economic factor and by the social aspect. The city of Juruti exerts a strong influence and in a way causes a dependence of the urban services found there, since the circulation of the community is made daily, so much the search of education, health, among others. We can say that the rural-urban relationship between these localities is diversifying the lifestyle of rural communities, where the technologies enter quite meaningfully in the lives of these people, with objects such as cell phones, televisions, refrigerators, radios, stereos, etc., that shape the way people speak, act, and think of this population. But we can’t let of to understand that these new urban forms aren’t replacing their rural values and their ways of life. What we witnessed was a new re-signification of social and cultural values with other practices, that give the tone of the dynamism of the relations found between the communities and the city of Juruti-PA.
