Item Desafios e contribuições da experimentação na formação inicial de professores de química(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2018-01-03) Silva, Eliana Aparecida de Morais; Leão, Marcelo FrancoOne of the main grounds for understanding the chemical complex concepts, is the experimentation, because of this, the theme needs to be discussed since the inicial teacher training of this discipline. The study aimed to investigate the difficulties and contributions that the experimentation provided during the teacher training in chemistry of the IFMT Campus Confresa. The research is descriptive and exploratory, whose approach is qualitative. Its accomplishment extended from November 2016 until March 2017. Initially a search was made in the Course Pedagogic Project to verify the emphasis given to experimentation. Electronic forms were used to collect data with eleven teachers and nineteen graduates of this course. To analyze these results, we used the content analysis. The main difficulties encountered were: few experimental classes, lack of materials, infrastructure, unprepared teacher trainers. The main contributions of the experimentation reported were: the understanding of theoretical concepts, the construction of teaching skills and the complementarity between theory and practice. Therefore, the experimentation provides to build teaching knowledge both in the conceptual field and in the didactic field and provides the future teachers to be able to explore the experimental activities during their chemistry classes.
