Item Alfabetização tecnológica dos professores de geografia no contexto das Escolas Estaduais de Parintins(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2017-09-28) Simas, JaquelineThis paper presents the results of the research on "The technological literacy of teachers of Geography in the context of the State Schools of Parintins", which has a great influence on their educational task, in an attempt to identify their difficulties in handling new technologies and search new ways that contribute to the quality of Geography teaching. The pedagogical use of new technologies in schools as a means of access to learning transform the curricular activities that link content to new actions and the students' living knowledge, these new information and communication technologies generate new ways of learning and are present in our daily. The research was carried out with the objective of investigating whether the teachers of Geography were literate to work with the new technologies in the teaching of the discipline, in what way it is made the inclusion of these tools in the practice of the teacher and the contentment of the students against the use of the new technologies. A qualitative research was done with the application of questionnaires through the standardized or structured technique. It was noticed that teachers were not trained to handle these tools. The results point to the need to develop educational policies that offer training to teachers so that they can carry out their work with greater efficiency.
