Item Aprendizagem de Potenciação utilizando atividades investigativas em uma turma do 7º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública municipal de Tefé/AM.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2020-11-04) Araújo, Rodrigo Martins; Soares, Carlos José FerreiraMathematical research is an Education Trend that consists of discover relationships and patterns seeking to identify and prove the properties and hypotheses raised by the researcher (PONTE, 2003). The most interesting thing is that it encourages the student to leave his comfort zone, encouraging you to interact and discover solutions formulations from answers found, in fact, allows interaction with classmates and teachers. In terms of addressing this trend in learning the content of Potentiation, it proves to be an important methodological strategy, as it leads the student to intuit, conjecture, experiment, prove, evaluate, and present the result (s) found, reinforcing attitudes of autonomy, cooperation and oral and written communication skills (PONTE; BROCARDO; OLIVEIRA, 2006). The differential of working with Mathematical Investigation is the mutual connection of all stages of activities ranging from the recognition of the problem to the assessment of the result of reasoning. Thus, it is important to explain that the student has the responsibility to demonstrate initiative in the search for justified discovery and the Teachers should not provide answers or paths about solving activities. Portuguese studies (PONTE, 2002) have shown that conducting investigations mathematics in class can contribute to promoting student learning. They indicate that they lead students to develop new skills and acquire new knowledge. Students have difficulties in learning this discipline and research mathematics is one of the methodologies that the teacher can use to mitigate these problems that students encounter in the learning process. Based on the above, this research aims to investigate the following problem: How Mathematical Research can contribute to the students' learning process students of a class of the 8th year of Elementary School regarding the Potentiation content.Item O ensino de matemática financeira no ensino médio(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2016-09-24) Soares, Carlos José FerreiraThis article deals the teaching-learning process of financial mathematics in Romerito da Silva Brito state high school in the city of Jurua - AM, we highlight the conception of students concerning to the main foundations of this scope of the mathematics. The purpose of this work was to analyze how have been worked the contents and the definitions of financial mathematics in order to achieve an effective financial education in accordance with their daily live and conception on the importance of this theme. We collected information, concerning to the teaching methodologies and contents addressed by teacher, through the observation and verification of the plan of educational activities. The results revealed that most students don't have any contact with the financial mathematics but since the first year at high school,. The students recognize that the addressed theme is fundamental for the educational preparation, since it is present in the in daily basis. Keywords: Financial Mathematics. Financial Education. Teaching-learning.Item Explorando Atividade Investigativa por meio do Software Geogebra na Aprendizagem de Função Quadrática(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-12-01) Santos, Joanes Duarte; Soares, Carlos José Ferreira; Coutinho, Fernando Soares; Rodrigues, Sabrina de SouzaThe present work is a study under the gaze of Mathematical Research through Geogebra software. Its main objective was to analyze the contributions of Mathematical Research through Geogebra software in the learning of quadratic function, in a class of the 9th year of elementary school, since the students elaborated conjectures when exploring investigative task. As a theoretical contribution, this research was conducted by the authors Magalhães and Varizo (2016), Ponte, Brocardo and Oliveira (2020) and Soares (2021), who analyzed and discussed the foundations that enrich and strengthen Mathematical Research as a trend of mathematical education The methodological procedures are based on the qualitative approach, the data were collected from the participant observation, field diary and questionnaire. Descriptive analysis was adopted for data analysis. The results indicate that the investigative tasks through Geogebra have the potential to stimulate the students' learning, since they were able to express the sequence through square roots, 1st degree function and quadratic function. Therefore, this teaching methodology can help both the teacher and the student, considering that it helps the teacher to explore dynamic classes and encourages the student to produce knowledge actively.Item Explorando atividades investigativas na aprendizagem de área de figuras plantas utilizando o software geogebra em uma turma do 7º ano do ensino fundamental.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2020-11-03) Pereira, Alison Thaylo dos Santos; Soares, Carlos José FerreiraAnalyze how Mathematical Research favors learning of students in a 7th grade class at the State School Corintho Borges Façanha as to the content of the area of flat figures using the GeoGebra software.Item Investigação matemática explorando o triângulo de Sierpinski por meio dos software GoGebra em uma Turma do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-12-04) Maciel, Robison da Silva; Soares, Carlos José FerreiraThe development of teaching and learning mathematics must be creative and dynamic, as interacting two trends in mathematical research can contribute to student learning. Since the present work aimed to verify the contribution of mathematical research through the GeoGebra software in the Sierpinski triangle in a 9th grade class in elementary school. Using a questionnaire, field notebook and photography as instruments for data collection. The study was analyzed by descriptive analysis. Through the development of this research to explore the Sierpinski triangle through GeoGebra, it was found that it helps students to build and improve their learning, as the groups developed some mathematical relationships including, subtraction, multiplication, rooting and potentiation. Therefore, an exploration of investigative tasks through this technological tool can enable students to learn autonomously.Item Investigações Geométricas Explorando Dobragens e Cortes de Figuras Planas um uma Turma do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-24) Rodrigues, Marcos Gomes; Soares, Carlos José FerreiraThis article presents a study on the exploration of geometric investigative tasks through folding and cutting, which had the general objective of analyzing the discoveries of students in an 8th grade class of elementary school in a public school in Tefé - AM. Of the specific objectives, they had to describe the findings arising from the investigative task involving flat figures, highlight their involvement during the task and identify the difficulties that occurred during the task. The data from this scientific study with a qualitative approach, the instruments used to collect the data were the researcher's and students' notebooks, a voice recorder and participant observation as a technique. For data analysis, a qualitative descriptive analysis was used. As a result of this work, it was proven that probing geometric investigative tasks exploring folds and cuts stimulates the student to build knowledge with autonomy, since they found mathematical relationships involving flat figures emphasizing symmetry, perpendicularity and also the concept of triangles. By using one fold and two cut found quadrilaterals and triangles. Therefore, the development of investigative tasks in the classroom can contribute to both teaching and learning.
