The theoretical foundation was anchored in Pedroso (2009), Canto and Zacarias (2009), Alves (2015), among others. The methodological course was based on a quantitative qualitative approach, using the techniques of bibliographic research, participant observation and comparative analysis. The research was attended by 18 (eighteen) students from the 1st grade class of the Escola Dom João Marchese School and 19 (nineteen) students from the 1st grade of the high School of the Integral time Pedro Fukuyei Yamaguchi Ferreira and 03 (three) teachers of biology of State network schools. Questionnaires were used as data collection instruments, containing open and closed questions. In view of the results obtained in the research, it is concluded that the game in the teaching and learning process is a methodology that assists in the comprehension of the contents, associated with the dialogued expository class, with the support of the textbook. Therefore, learning depends on several factors and the most important thing is to experience the facts, things that despite being in the 21ST century, technological advances and everything else, the professors are not prepared and neither seek to improve themselves for the application of new Teaching methodologies considered effective in the learning of students.
