Once the register of this relationship fails, the installation of the prosthesis is not possible, because functional, aesthetic and pain problems can be generated to the patient. The objective of this study is to report a clinical case of rehabilitation with conventional complete dentures in which a procedure was performed to correct the maxillomandibular relationship registered during the prosthesis manufacturing. During the installation of the prosthesis, a failure was detected in the registration of the centric relation (RC). To solve the case, it was decided to remove the artificial teeth of the acrylic base of the lower prosthesis and then reassemble them in the proper position. The used technique allowed the resolution of the clinical case, with the rehabilitation of the patientAcesso AbertoPrótese totalregistro da relação maxilomandibularOclusão dentáriarecord of maxillomandibular relationshipDesafio na obtenção da relação maxilomandibular durante a confecção de prótese total convencional - relato de casoChallenge in obtaining the maxillomandibular relationship during the fabrication of conventional complete denture - case reportTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
