Business incubators have become one of the strategies adopted in Brazil for the creation of small technology-based companies. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate, through an exploratory analysis, the performance of technology-based companies incubated in an innovation environment. The method used is the case study, and the data were collected from the nine incubated companies, through the application of questionnaires. The analysis of the results indicates that: a) the capacities have their roots in the professional or academic experiences of the entrepreneurs; b) the networking provided by the incubator proved to be fundamental for all companies; and c) infrastructure is important for the initial stages of incubation, but loses importance as companies advance in their incubation stages. In addition, this study demonstrates that INUEA is a good promoter of innovation and entrepreneurship, showing positive results in relation to incubated companies and with a favorable index for growth and local development in the Manaus region.Acesso AbertoEconomia - CursoIncubadoras de EmpresaEcossistema EmpreendedorInovação e Desenvolvimento LocalEcossistemas de inovação e desenvolvimento econômico: um estudo de caso na INUEAEcosystems of innovation and economic development: a case study at INUEATrabalho de Conclusão de CursoEconomia
