As it is a service legislated and supervised by the city of Manaus, it is necessary to pay more attention to the qualification of the professional who works in the place. For that, documental research was used as a method for data collection, as well as a closed questionnaire obtaining quantitative and qualitative data, as a case study, providing support for the analysis and subsidies for the answer to the problem: what are the qualifications of the professional (taxi driver), often the first contact with the tourist in the city of Manaus. The surveys were carried out with 40 taxi drivers, thus representing 50% of the professionals who provide service at the location. The objectives were concluded where the companies that operate at the airport were presented, being the means by which professionals provide their services on the spot, needing only to have the taxi driver's documents regularized. Also, it was found that most professionals have been working in the place for a long time, but few have qualification courses. Although, through the present research, it was noticed that there were already courses destined to the category, but the lack of time available to go to classes was an obstacle for them to complete the course, so it is stated that the main responsible for qualifying are the taxi drivers themselves, as it is useless for the public and private authorities to teach courses if the professional does not complete them.
