Therefore, this study aims to describe the main characteristics that encompass the Brazilian industry, by analyzing its spatial distribution, recognizing in which areas they operate and identifying the ways in which the companies inserted grow and develop. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, the study relies on the description of quali-quantitative data collected secondarily. Thus, there was a large concentration of biotechnology and bioscience companies in the Southeast and South regions that operate mainly in the human health, agribusiness and input sectors.
