This analysis was developed using the inductive method in a bibliographic research with a qualitative approach, through a detailed study of the work in question, using the convictions of theorists and critics who delved into the proposed theme, among which we can remark: Barros (2001), Santaella (1983) and Fiorin (2011). Through the study of the generative route of meaning in semiotics, we sought to verify and understand concepts that are not always addressed or perceived in a literary text, if it is treated in isolation. The analyzes and discussions of the research confirm that it is possible to carry out the analysis based on the approach of Greimasian semiotics, evaluating the discourse and thus tracing the generative course of meaning such as: Euphoria and DysphoriaAcesso AbertoSemióticaSemioticsPercurso gerativo de sentidoGenerative Route of MeaningMax CarphentierMax CarphentierQuadro semiótico.Semiotic FrameworkO quadro semiótico de Greimas aplicado à obra O Sermão da Selva, de Max CarphentierGreimas' semiotic framework applied to the work The Jungle Sermon, by Max CarphentierTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
