Bittencourt, Maryângela AguiarBranco, Francisca Camila de Souza Castelo2023-10-062024-10-022023-10-032023-10-062019-12-10https://ri.uea.edu.br/handle/riuea/6641The main focus of this article is to analyze the impact of non-compulsory internship for higher-level students hired by the Heitor Vieira Dourado Tropical Medicine Foundation - FMT/HVD in Amazonas in 2018 and its objective is to investigate, in the students' perception, about the contribution of the internship in their professional qualification. The study was oriented on the history of internship law and previous studies. This research was based on quantitative and qualitative technical procedures, conducted statistically and a category analysis, respectively. The paper presents theoretical and practical contribution, with the possibility of discussions to expand scientific knowledge, and how the results can contribute to students of higher education. All the curricular internships of the Business Administration course were considered in order to highlight the importance of the curricular internship for personal and professional qualification of the student, in view of the current job market, being the research carried out at the alluded Foundation, in the city of Manaus.
