This research has the basic objective of investigating the current legislation on the air transport of domestic animals, as well as delimiting the need for legislation relevant to the minimum criteria for the protection of animal welfare and the prospecting of the multispecies family. The treatment of the domestic animal by the human being and by the airlines will be identified. In this scenario, it enters into the study of bills and jurisprudence around the theme. The methodology developed is qualitative bibliographic based on academic studies, on legislation and on the analysis of jurisprudence, with a descriptive-deductive content.
