The specific objectives were to describe the natural and cultural environment of the object under study and to study the degree of tourism potential. The research had a qualitative-quantitative approach with the use of bibliographic, documentary and field research techniques in which there was observation, questionnaires application and interviews were carried out. From this investigation it was verified that the surrounding landscape of the Lajes Belvedere presents important characteristics for touristic use and especially for the valorization of the local culture and history.
