2023.https://ri.uea.edu.br/handle/riuea/794The importance of orientation and mobility for students with visual impairment an analysis at the Centro de Estudos Superiores de Parintins CESP-UEAO this article aims to analyze from the speeches of the research subjects how the accessibility process occurs considering the importance of orientation and Mobility for these academics at CESP UEA based on this objective, we seek to emphasize the importance of guidance and mobility for academics with visual impairment, based on the right to access Higher Education, guaranteed by Law. We know that inclusion, access, adaptation, training are elements that accompany the so-called inclusive process in all social and educational segments. The concern in presenting this article arises from considering academics with visual impairments, important subjects within a university space, and issues related to their orientation and mobility to better move around the University space. This research is based on Laws such as the 1988 Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil, as well as authors who properly approach this subject, such as: MAZZOTA (1996), FELIPPE (1997), PACHECO, R. V.; COASTS (2005). For this, we anchored on research of a qualitative nature, as well as a phenomenological approach, and uses the case study as a methodological procedure. Data collection involved an instrument consisting of an interview script with semi-structured questions that addressed topics such as inclusion, accessibility, life history, among others. With this research, we can see that inclusion does not consist only of guarantees of access, but of work systems that aim at permanence, in order to instigate academics with blindness to enjoy the rights that are guaranteed to them, and above all the Institution to promote what is not yet ready in the context of Accessibility. However, the results collected showed that the academics participating in this work had a satisfactory school career, had competent professionals, as well as family support. Also, we observe from the speeches of these subjects that the University has done a lot, but some points are still crucial in terms of Orientation and Mobility, aiming at quality Inclusion.Acesso AbertoAcesssibilidadeOrientação e MobilidadeEducação SuperiorA importância da orientação e mobilidade para acadêmicos com deficiência visual uma análise no Centro de Estudos Superiores de Parintins CESP-UEAThe importance of guidance and mobility for students with visual impairment an analysis at the Center for Higher Studies in Parintins CESP-UEAWritten for deaf students of the language course at CESP/UEATrabalho de Conclusão de Curso
