The objective was to analyze how playful games can complement traditional teaching by capturing students' interest and facilitating the understanding of mathematical concepts. The methodology involved systematic observation and participant observation at a municipal school in Parintins, where teaching methods and the application of the ASMD game were evaluated with 6th-grade students.
