Preparatório para o vestibular de música da uea: breve histórico, atualidade e planos para o futuro

The “Preparatório para o Vestibular de Música da UEA” is a university extension project that, since 2014, has been offering music lessons to community members interested in entering the undergraduate courses in Music at Amazonas State University (UEA) and other higher education institutions. In this paper, we report on a brief history of the project; we also present the work team involved in the educational activities and an extensive description of the current students’ profile and their study expectations. Finally, actions for the continuation and expansion of the project are concisely presented.

This work sought to establish guidelines and interpretative references to the performance of Symphony nº 1 (Op. 21) by Ludwig van Beethoven. This research is important to help the conducting student community and professionals working in this area in the construction of their performances of this symphony. Thus, a study was carried out contemplating historical aspects and a musical study from the conductor's perspective.

The present work sought, from the academic and artistic experience in conducting Mozart’s Symphony n. 35 “Haffner” (K.385) to organize guidelines and interpretative references that may help in particular, the student community in conducting and professionals already active in this area in the construction of their performances of this symphony. Thus, a study was carried out observing its historical aspects through the already written bibliography on the subject (national and foreign), as well as an in-depth musical study from the conductor’s point of view.

This work aimed to present interpretative references that could help students of the conducting course and other professionals in the area in the construction of the performance of the Symphony no 40 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this way, a study about the historical aspects was carried out simultaneously with the musical study according to the conductor's point of view.
