To analyze the factors related to the notification of violence against children and adolescents by nurses of the Family Health Strategy in Manaus-AM. Method: This is a cross-sectional study carried out in the primary care services of Manaus - AM, whose information was obtained through the self-completion of the instrument for data collection by nurses who make up the Family Health Team, from October 2017 to April 2018. Data analyzed in SPSS software. Results: It was noted that 40% of the nurses who reported cases of violence against children and adolescents were single and had children. Regarding the training, it was observed that the topic of violence was seen in undergraduate studies (56.84%). Trainings and training resulted in 59.0% participation. The most identified and notified violence by nurses was neglect and abandonment, although almost 50% of the participants never identified any type of violence. Among the professionals who have already notified more than 2/4 of the participants, they had more than 10 years of experience. Conclusion: Violence against children and adolescents is a complex phenomenon and involves, for the most part, intrafamilial relationships. The Family Health Strategy nurse for her closeness to the user, family and social context needs to be prepared to deal with these situations
