Reflexões socioambientais sobre Agrovila São Sebastião do Caburi-Parintins/AM no contexto turístico

The main objective of this research is to reflect on issues involving socio-environmental sustainability in Agrovila São Sebastião do Caburi-Parintins/AM. In this perspective, we discuss the lack of public policies in rural territories, highlighting the aspirations of community residents, presenting measures that can help in the design and implementation of territorial development policies, with a focus on sustainability, suggesting community tourism as an alternative. The method used was dialectical, we worked with the use of quantitative and qualitative data and mental maps. With the Problem Tree and Objective Trees methodology, it was possible to elaborate an indicative statement that brings with it the possible origin of the problems and in contrast with the objective tree, what could be done to solve them. At first, there was a theoretical reflection on different approaches to the territory and their conceptions of the Nation-State, to the symbolic and material approach to the territory. Addressing discussions on territorial, organizational and environmental issues. The territory understood as a product of social, economic, political and cultural relations, historically determined by its singularities. We establish here a theoretical discussion about the emergence of the concept of territory, and the construction of the social space of Agrovila do Caburi, contextualizing tourism with a focus on community-based tourism, bringing together the dynamics and socio-environmental changes. structuring goals and solutions for the village.
