Item Clube de ciências como um espaço para desenvolver atributos do domínio intrapessoal(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2016-06-06) Albuquerque, Nathália Fogaça; Lima, Valderez Marina do Rosário; Rosito, Berenice AlvaresThe purpose of this article is to understand how the experiences in science clubs contribute to the development of basic education students intrapersonal attributes. This study was conducted with the participation of 20 students participating in a science club at Porto Alegre/RS, all of them with age between 10 and 12 years old and studying at 6th or 7th grade, two teachers of these students in regular schools and six parents of the same students. Data collection occurred through observations, interviews and expressions of students during activities proposed by the researcher. Data were analyzed using the Text Analysis Discourse, and the research was case study type. The science club was observed as a space to stimulate intrapersonal aspects recommended to the people of the XXI century. The expression of curiosity, ability to handle errors and frustration, motivation and autonomy was showed at the students actions. In some activities, however, students showed to have lack of autonomy to develop new tasks. Based at the results found in this research, it is recommended to implement more science clubs in basic education. Keywords: science club. non-formal education. science teaching.
