Item Contra Lei e Ordem: A Resistência Apurinã em Boca do Acre (1972-1980)(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2021-12-13) Silva, Francisco da; Santos, Tiago Fonseca dos; Santos, Tiago Fonseca; Queirós, César AugustoThis work is the result of a documentary research with archives of the National Archives Information System (SIAN) and of the Socioenvironmental Institute (ISA), which deals with the theme of Indigenous Resistance in the Middle Purus: the struggles of the Apurinã for the demarcation of land in Boca do Acre 1972-1980. During this period, Boca do Acre was the scene of social conflicts between farmers and farmers, with the protagonists being the Apurinã who experienced situations of neglect, due to the policies of the military government and even the indigenous agency Funai, especially invasion and illegal appropriation of land. In this scenario, we seek to understand the importance of Apurinã resistance and conflicts, in Boca do Acre, from 1972 to 1980, in the search for territorial spaces. In order to achieve the objectives, it is proposed to analyze the territorial demarcation processes in Boca do Acre; Characterize the indigenous and indigenist actions in favor of the Apurinã cause and identify the resistance and conflicts of the natives, through the demarcation of the land, at km 45 of the BR-317. Recovering the acts of resistance and conflicts of the Apurinã residents of km 45 of the Federal Highway BR 317 is strictly relevant for the academic community, especially for research in Indigenous History and Indigenism in the Amazon. It is also important for the social environment, as it shows that the Apurinã already inhabited that area, since the arrival of the colonizer, and it brings to the knowledge of the city's inhabitants the bravery and courage of these people, in the face of the law and wherever the government came. military. To understand the proposed objectives, qualitative research is used, which is based on written data to understand a phenomenon in depth, such as reports, newspapers and official letters. These data were collected in a systematic way, where Content Analysis was used, as a set of communication analysis techniques. This tool allows the researcher to interpret the content of the sources in search of answers to the research problem. Therefore, the importance of the natives' role in the repossession and demarcation of land was found.
