Item Política de educação ambiental do estado do Amazonas: reflexos na formação de professores para a educação básica(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-06-24) Silva, Jhonatan Gomes da; Santos, Elizabeth da Conceição; Batista, Ieda Hortêncio; Oliveira, Fabiane Araújo deFaced with the complexity of the Contemporary Environmental Question, which presents a form of global crisis, teacher education becomes a protagonist in the construction of a new form of education for life, in the search for respect for nature and the development of citizenship in individuals to face the environmental crisis. Currently, higher education institutions have been training primary school teachers to work through a fragmented curriculum in disciplines, where there is no dialogue between knowledge, which hinders an overall perspective and globalization, and schools do not prepare students for coping. of the challenges of contemporary life. Consider that the Common National Curriculum Base portrays that contemporary themes imply human life in a transversal and integrative way and that the Environmental Education Policy of the State of Amazonas determines in its article 17 that Environmental Education must be included in all training courses teacher (undergraduate / undergraduate) with supervised workload for the practice of transversality and in its article 13, the Policy decides that the Cross-cutting Themes should be contemplated in an interdisciplinary way in political-pedagogical projects and school development plans. In this sense, the present research investigates the structure and the aspect of Environmental Education in the 5 undergraduate courses of the Normal Superior School of the State University of Amazonas (Sciences, Biology, Geography, Letters - Portuguese Language, Mathematics and Pedagogy), besides verifying if There is a practice of transversality in teacher training and presenting indicators that hinder or direct the transversal practice in the supervised internship. The research was qualitative, being a case study that analyzed the curricula of teacher education and interviewed graduating graduates. Among the undergraduate courses, from the categories structured in the research, only the Biological Sciences course presented the discipline Environmental Education with interdisciplinary character and supervised workload for the practice of transversality, in the other courses, Environmental Education obtained other aspects and the practice of transversality was not tied to the discipline, presenting only as a separate. Therefore, there is no integration of undergraduate courses for treatment of Contemporary Themes in the Environmental Education space. However, this work requires that the competent bodies come to request from the Amazonas State University, the appreciation of interdisciplinary / transversal Environmental Education for the art of planning and implementation of transversal activities, in compliance with the Environmental Education Policy of the State of Amazonas.
