Sítio arqueológico em comunidade amazônica: estudo de caso do laguinho, município de Parintins - Am

This article seeks to show the use and occupation of archaeological site by contemporary community in Laguinho area, Amazon village settlement, in the municipality of Parintins, Amazonas - Brazil, and the relationship of production of geographical space and archeology, using as a guiding tool Heritage Education, which allows the valuation and recognition of the natural heritage, cultural and public, contributing to the harmony between man and nature in modern society. It also seeks to recover the feeling of belonging to the community people of Laguinho and Valeria area through archaeological awareness and conservation actions, using the techniques of lectures and workshops in local public schools in order to show the value of the identity of the place by means of evidence of material culture by ceramic fragments and lithic outcropping found on the surface of the area occupied by the community, and enable the formation of multipliers and supporters of this there existing assets.
