    This work whose theme The Contributions of the Didactic Gender Project (PDG) Opinion Article in the Teaching Learning Process at the Center for Higher Studies - CEST - Tefé - Amazonas aimed to show that the methodology based on the Didactic Gender Project - Opinion Article is a teaching instrument and encouragement for reading, writing and orality of texts in the teaching-learning process, both from CEST students, who will learn new knowledge, and from high school students, if this methodology is transmitted to them. The problem arose when it was asked whether CEST / UEA teachers use the PDG as a methodology to minimize the reading, writing and speaking difficulties of the respective high school students. The bibliographic research was based on Severino (2007), Lakatos (2017), Cervo (2007), Prestes (2019) and Figueiredo (2008). The methodology was guided by field research with bibliographic survey, inductive method and questionnaire technique adopted to collect information. The results indicate that the Opinion Article is a necessary genre, in that educational institution, because in addition to being relevant, it seeks to respect the interlocutor's ideas and develops the writer's argumentation power to persuade the reader. Thus, we emphasize that the research theme is fundamental and necessary, as it develops the writer's argumentative capacity in the desire to convince the reader and shows that the school's task is to contribute to the formation of citizens making them more autonomous and critical through the speaking
