    Mulher e Poesia Em Construção: Um Útero é Do Tamanho De Um Punho

    This article intends to analyze the book Um útero é do tamanho de um punho, by Angélica Freitas, which thematizes the condition of women in society. For this, a qualitative bibliographic method was used. In addition to being based on the works of authors who thought about these issues, namely, Simone de Beauvoir with O segundo sexo (1967), reflecting on women since their birth, proposing them as a product of cultural construction, Regina Dalcastagnè with Literatura brasileira contemporânea: um território conetestado (2012) dealing, among other things, with how women are seen in literature, as well as Fabiana Pinto with the thesis Duas faces da mulher contemporânea: carreira e maternidade (2015) analyzing the path from the condition of being a woman to the present, without leaving aside other critical, theoretical and philosophical voices that were of great importance in the development of the research, we sought to show how Angélica Freitas situates women in the present from the point of view of poetry
