The need for popular knowledge has increasingly moved away from our teenagers and young people, thus leaving knowledge related to medicinal plants increasingly forgotten, in this way the creation of the booklet has placed everyone at the forefront of useful information for everyone's health in classroom. With this, the objective was to apply an informative booklet in a high school class, based on a pre-questionnaire applied in the community of Ramal do Andiroba – Tefé-AM, in which an interview took place with 10 residents between 30 and 50 years old. The booklet was applied at Escola Centro Educacional Governador Gilberto Mestrinho, for students in the third year of high school, totaling 25 students aged 15 to 17, starting with the application of a pre-questionnaire, followed by an expository class. and a post-questionnaire. Through the results obtained, it was observed that the use of the booklet during the class facilitated the students' teaching-learning process, which was related to popular knowledge and the teaching of chemistry within the school context, due to having covered organic chemistry content (organic functions ).

O Papel das TDICS No Ensino De Química: Investigando a Contribuição de Aplicativos de Smartphone para o Ensino de Geometria Molecular
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-03-27) Façanha, Larissa da Silva; Florindo, Caio César Ferreira
The present study aims to investigate the feasibility of using TDICs as an educational tool in teaching chemistry in the city of Tefé, Amazonas. It is research lasted two years and was carried out in three distinct stages, as part of the extension activities promoted by the Tefé Campus (CEST-UEA) of the University of State of Amazonas. At each stage, work methodologies were used specific and targeted to achieve the proposed research objectives. We noticed In this study, the interviewed teachers do not use TDICs due to lack of mastery and training. Furthermore, all interviewed teachers disagree that the use of TDICs in the classroom increase interactivity between students and teachers, considering that, in their opinion, the use of TDICs only favors the individualization of teaching. You data obtained are worrying and suggest that the teachers interviewed have a mistaken view on the use of TDICs in the teaching and learning process, since who disagree that its use can increase interactivity between students and teachers. You students positively evaluated the methodology used in this research and stated that the class became more attractive and dynamic. This evaluation highlights the effectiveness of the approach chosen and student engagement during the learning process. In addition Additionally, most students performed satisfactorily on the geometry quiz. molecular, when TDICs were used. Therefore, the use of TDICs in the classroom class can be an effective strategy to break the class routine and spark interest of students in the content covered. This may favor a better understanding deep and interactive knowledge, and teachers must be trained and encouraged to use these technologies to improve the quality of teaching.

(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-24) Pinheiro, Paulo Cesar Peres; Junior, Erasmo Sergio Ferreira Pessoa
The present work aims to investigate the potential of using gamification and its techniques as an educational strategy to promote engagement and student motivation in chemistry teaching in the city of Tefé, Amazonas. In each stage, specific work methodologies were used and aimed at achieve the proposed research objectives. The results show that gamification despite being an active methodology with the potential to streamline work environments, learning and providing meaningful learning to students is not yet being fully explored at school. Both the class teacher and the students respondents are not familiar with gamification in education, unaware of its techniques and mechanisms. It is important to highlight that the activity applied gamification received a positive evaluation from students, who highlighted that they felt motivated and that the game “Labyrinth of Elements” helped in learning the periodic table content. Furthermore, the majority of students performed satisfactory in the post-game evaluation exercise. Therefore, the use of gamification in classroom can be an effective strategy to break the class routine and awaken the student interest in Chemistry content

O Ensino de Química durante a Pandemia do Covid-19 Tefé-AM
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-05-18) Santiago, Daniele Lima; Junior, Erasmo Sergio Ferreira Pessoa
The pandemic caused by the Coronavirus in 2020 had impacts on different areas of society, and it would be no different in education, there was the closure of schools, with their return through remote classes emergencies, as social distancing was necessary, complying with state and municipal ordinances, aiming to prevent infection by the virus. This article describes what chemistry teaching was like during the coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19 in the municipality of Tefé – AM; This is a qualitative research of the descriptive – exploratory type. In order to understand what the challenges were faced by chemistry teachers during the pandemic. This one work aimed to understand which methodologies are used in teaching of chemistry remotely. And as a result it was verified that teachers had difficulties in teaching their classes remotely due to the lack of internet and/or an internet that fluctuates and has low speed. It was left It is evident that in some cases students did not have smartphones or access to to the internet and the solution was to make printed material available at school. Therefore, the lack of investment in the qualification of teachers to use technologies in teaching, and the lack of equipment and quality internet were the biggest obstacles encountered by teachers and students in classes remote chemistry sessions during the pandemic

Poluição da Água por Esgostos Domésticos: uma Proposta de Oficinba Temática para o Ensino de Química
(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-11-10) Silva, Ronilson da Silva e; Pacheco, Viviane Fagundes
We live in a society characterized by coexistence with science and technology. Therefore, it is essential that individuals are literate scientifically and technologically. Based on these considerations, we seek with this work contributes to students’ scientific and technological literacy through thematic workshop “Water pollution from domestic sewage: eutrophication process” in a Science-Technology-Society (STS) perspective. Developed within the scope of curricular component Supervised Internship III, in which the design, preparation and implementation of thematic workshops in Chemistry classes for the 1st year of High school in the city of Tefé. This included activities such as interview script, guiding questions, lecture and experimentation. Thematic workshop activities enable the exploration of students’ prior knowledge, which contributed to understanding the theme, enabling students to (re)signify the problem with a more critical reading, active participation in workshop activities, argumentation from experimentation, essential for conscious decision-making, in addition to helping students in the social perception of the topic discussed. It is therefore concluded that the application of the thematic workshop, developed in this work, is relevant to literacy scientific, as it will help in the citizenship training of students, as it contributes to the student rethinks and reflects on the topic addressed.

(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-08-24) Félix, Antônio Willian Venâncio; Junior, Erasmo Sergio Ferreira Pessoa
With the Covid-19 pandemic, educational institutions at their most varied levels were suspended, paralyzing in-person classes and adopting Emergency Remote Teaching for the continuation of school activities. Investigate the educational context that was experienced in schools in the municipality of Tefé-AM is of utmost importance to understand the strategies that were used in Chemistry classes. In this way, questionnaires were applied with students from four state schools to obtain data. The results showed that cell phones and WhatsApp were the most used means of communication for sending content and continuity of classes. However, due to poor internet connection quality, Digital Information and Communication Technologies could not be used in a effective, causing low performance of students in learning, and leading them to prefer face-to-face teaching as a favorite for the teaching and learning process.
