These scholars, shaken by the success of the natural sciences, set out in search of new discoveries, towards the furthest corners, one of which was the Solimões River. The naturalists, who went to this part of the Solimões, were botanists, zoologists, entomologists, geologists, in short, scientists from the natural sciences, who were concerned with meeting the demands and professional purposes, with which they were directly committed, because it would be up to them describe everything that was on the way. In addition, the work shows how the population of this region was analyzed by these men of science who spent years traversing its rivers in search of collecting data from their population and took it to their countries of origin.Item A tecitura poética das canções do grupo raízes caboclas (1988)(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2023-01-10) Nascimento, Arthur Figueira do; Holanda, Yormaley Lopes; Holanda, Yomarley Lopes; Silveira, Cristiane da; Oliveira, Manoel Domingos deThe present research sought to address the songs of the album Amazonas (1988) of the Vocal Group Raízes Caboclas, a work of the music scene of the 1980s that represents artistic production musical of the period being part of the MPA musical genre (Popular music of the Amazon) if distinguishing by its Amazonian sonority, observing from a dialogue between music and history, the particular characteristics of these works and not losing sight of their influences musical and cultural songs expressed in his songs as well as the poetic fabric of these Amazonian compositions . Methodologically, the work was based on bibliographic research. Therefore, a survey of references was carried out in advance and later a basic review of the literature available in digital and Portuguese collections. Subsequently, the main thematic approaches and structures of the proposed object were analyzed. The theoretical foundation was based on Prado and Pellegrino (2014), Silva (2015), Rubiano (2016), Gouvêa (1993), Mäder (2008), among others. The bibliographic research pointed out that the history of Latin America is rich and complex, but still little known by most Brazilians. With regard to the emancipation processes of the colonies that gave rise to South American nations and countries, we found that these were long and complex so that not only external influences were decisive for the outbreak of emancipatory movements. The various events, crises and internal conflicts, as well as the interests of the various social actors, that is, the colonial elite (chapetones and creole) and the populations considered subaltern (indigenous, black and mestizo), were also important and contributed directly to the revolts and conflicts for the independence of the colonies on this continent during the period of colonization.Item Aspectos históricos e diferentes representações dos números racionais em livros didáticos do ensino fundamental.(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-05-18) Santos, Jade de Jesus Mendes dos; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Costa, Lucélida de Fátima Maia da; Ferreira, João Raimundo Silva; Teixeira, Chayse PinheiroIn this article we present the results of a qualitative research, of a bibliographic nature. The information obtained occurred through the analysis of the mathematics textbooks of the collection - Apoema - by author Adilson Longen, from the final years of elementary school (6th, 7th, 8th and 9th year) used in the last triennium (2019-2021) ), focusing the analysis on the units of each book in which the sets of rational numbers were presented. The general objective was to analyze the historical aspects and the different representations of rational numbers present in textbooks. The results obtained indicate that textbooks still present the historical aspects of rational numbers in a very simplistic way and do not make relationships between the different representations of this type of number. Because, they only present the rational numbers, such as the decimal numbers and the percentage, which are displayed in different units from the rational numbers without having any information that these are also part of the set of rational numbers.Item Do inferno à Pagoa: a trajetória de vida de Manoel Eugênio da Silva, núcleo quilombola da Pagoa, Rio Andirá(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2022-12-19) Silva, Elen Mourão da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Rocha, João Marinho da; Carvalho, Mary Tânia dos Santos; Gomes, Jéssica Dayse MatosOur research refers to the process of memory construction and reconstruction of the history of the quilombos of the Andirá river, located in the municipality of Barreirinha, Amazonas. It starts from a concern regarding the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio da Silva, a quilombola character, where we analyze his trajectory through the memories of the oldest residents of the quilombo Santa Tereza and the Pagoa nucleus, as well as the memories of his family members. We dialogue with authors in the field of social history of black people, in the post-abolition period and with the methodology of Oral History (ALBERTI, 2011). The experiences and reflections recorded in this article are based on studies such as Ranciaro (2016), Siqueira (2016) and Rocha (2019), which deal with the Quilombos of the Andirá River and their processes of ethnic, social and territorial recognition. Within this context of struggle, the trajectory of Manoel Eugênio was silenced in the processes of producing the genealogy of the quilombos of the Andirá River. Therefore, we consider it opportune to recover aspects of this subject's life, through the voices of people who shared the post-abolition worlds with this character and what reveres the trajectory of the old Manoel.Item Amazônia: herança de uma utopia uma análise sobre os processos de “desenvolvimento da Amazônia” do apogeu ao declínio(Universidade do Estado do Amazonas, 2019-06-10) Souza, Joyce Lopes de; Silveira, Diego Omar da; Silveira, Diego Omar da; Medeiros, Mônica Xavier de; Bianchezzi, ClariceThe present article aimed to describe the documentary “Amazônia-Herança de uma Utopia” analyzing the processes of “development of the Amazon” from its apogee to its decline, showing to what extent it can help us understand a little bit of the history of the Amazon region.
