Resumo
The present work its objective is to analyze the toadas de boi-bumbá as a pedagogical tool in the processo f teaching and learning the Portuguese language. For this, we bring the relationship between culture and education, since we are working with a tool of the culture of a people in the educational field, we briefly presente the origino of the folkloric manifestation and the transformations that happened until reaching the show that happens today, after tat we conceptualize the toadas and presente it as na importante pedagogical tool for teaching and learning and also for the inclusion of indigenous students in regular schools. We also understand the Portugese language in elementary education and the teaching work of teachers who work in this area. For this, the theorists that support the work are Antunes (2003), Farias (2005), Rodrigues (2006). The methodology used was qualitative in nature whit a dialectical approach method using the ethnographic technique. Whit this work, we seek to promote reflections and pedagogical actions that enable teachers, students and Society in general to recognize the importance of toadas in the processo of theaching and learning the Portuguese language.
