This document presents the project to develop a prototype system for continuous
monitoring of human urine. According to the Brazilian Society of Clinical Pathology 10 million
people are affected by renal dysfunction and that more than 70% of patients who start dialysis
discover the disease when the kidneys are already severely compromised. Among the various
problems that interfere with human health, several of them are related to urine, such as
dehydration, urinary infections, diabetes, kidney stones and so on. The present work seeks the
detection of urine variations through an ESP32 platform and sensors (pH and color recognition)
coupled to this platform in order to monitor the characteristics of this urine and inform the user
through the smartphone connected via Bluetooth with the ESP32 and indicate to the user if
everything is in compliance or not, as well as send the values captured by the sensors to a
database and with this it is possible to follow the variation of what was monitored over time.
With this, it will be possible to predict a health complication early or concomitantly with the
problem, helping the user to seek medical help when necessary.
