Circuitos e vivências espaciais da juventude na agrovila do Mocambo do Arari, Parintins-AM

Abstract

This work seeks analyzed the socio-spatial practices of young people from the Mocambo do Arari community, located 67 km from the city of Parintins, in terms of historical, socio-cultural, and territorial contexts, since many of these young people are inserted in a hybrid between rural and urban areas, with the research itself being focused on the young people. To carry out this research, the essential method of this work was the phenomenological method, which sought to understand the practices and experiences of young people from Mocambo in terms of cultures, daily practices and leisure, using questionnaires, interviews, and mental cartographies illustrated by the research participants for a better understanding of the scenario studied. The study indicated that although young people are inserted in urban contexts such as consuming processed foods and using technologies like smartphones, a large part of them have not lost their cultural essence from their place of origin, highlighting the high level of social networks and the culture of community festivals and sports.
