Naturezas em mosaico relato de uma experiência de formação em ciências biológicas

Abstract

This work aims to describe experiences in a curricular component of an undergraduate course in Biological Sciences at State University of Feira de Santana. This work analyses the students' context of perceptions of nature, discussing their influences on human praxis and culture as well. The perceptions of students were investigated, aiming to understand the importance of these perceptions in the training of the future biologists. In addition, it was proposed to the students that they could demonstrate a visual image that would represent the idea of nature to them. All presentations were recorded, as well as the images presented by the students, composing the set of data to be systematized and analysed in this study. The documentary record and socialization of images were realized, aiming the congregation of a narrative in mosaic. The construction of the documentary intended to overcome the registration of a research, becoming a source of recognition of the students as constructors of a life path and their relationship with nature, as well as the influences that lead the students to understand the world around them. The result is a diverse and rich record with socio-cultural meaning, in which not only give a sense to what is nature but also shape a mosaic of nature. Thus, the students produced a collective and singular narrative on nature, in which enabled a reflection on the meanings of nature that have been built in the contemporary context, as a fundamental reflexion to their professional training.
