Abstract

In the novel The Last Flight of the Flamingo, the logic of the Mozambican state in times of recent independence with their respective rulers. In this context, we seek an analysis of the representations of power that permeate the narrative, defining the characters in this space, whose predominance of political-legal power will be the starting point to manifestations of other representations of power in the work. For this, it is used the contribution of the contribution of theorists and critics listed in this work, which, in thesis, dissertate on the of the subject over other subjects, in their power relations, since there are several segments of power segments of power that involve the characters. Moreover, there is, in the aforementioned fiction, a close connection between literature and history about the identity and memory of this nation, which the importance of this analysis.
