Gestão de ferramentas e materiais em uma empresa de PD&L: uma Abordagem integrada com bpm e gestão do conhecimento.

Abstract

The efficient management of materials and tools is a determining factor for productivity and resource control. The absence of traceability and standardized processes in the lending and return of items can lead to losses, redundant purchases, and communication failures among teams. In this context, this study aims to propose a solution based on the principles of Business Process Management (BPM) and Knowledge Management, in order to improve material control and management within a company in the field of Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I). The research adopts a qualitative approach, grounded in a case study, using process mapping as the main tool to represent the current state (AS-IS) and design the future model (TO-BE). From the analyses carried out, weaknesses and improvement opportunities were identified, resulting in the redesign of more structured processes. Based on these models, a prototype system was developed to record and monitor item loans, contributing to waste reduction and increased operational efficiency. Furthermore, the study reinforces the importance of Knowledge Management by transforming dispersed information into accessible and reusable data, strengthening decision-making and promoting continuous organizational learning.
