Resumo
Damage and loss of products during transport are trivial problems for companies that
work with logistics. For this, it is extremely important to know how to analyze the
logistical process and identify the root causes of breakdowns and losses. Thus, the
objective of this work was to evaluate the impacts of the Easy Checklist application
within a tube distribution center in the northern region, as well as to verify the impacts
of training with the loading team during the years 2021 and 2022 to reduce the
customer complaints. After analyzing the process using the action-research
methodology, opportunities for improvement were identified. The identified
improvements were implemented through the proposed action plans, which resulted in
a decrease in the complaint rate and in the number of damaged and lost products
during the period studied. In general, the results obtained confirmed the hypotheses
raised and demonstrated how the applied methodology can impact the reduction of the
customer complaint rate.
