Memória e a Identidade Cultural em Narrativas de Yaguarê Yamã

Abstract

This article aims to show in narratives by the author Yaguarê Yamã the presence of memory and of cultural identity. The research is of the type of bibliographical, qualitative research and as the approach method deductive. The narratives listed for this research are from the works Puratig: O Remo Sagrado (2001) Kurumi Guarê no Coração da Amazônia (2007) and Contos da Floresta (2012) by the indigenous Amazonian writer Yaguarê Yaman. The research is theoretically based on Almeida and Queiroz (2004) Kambeba (2018), Munduruku (2018), Graúna (2013), Le Goov (1990), Hall (2006), Pereira (2022) and those who helped to deepen the topic in question.
