Resumo
The present research entitled “The Fantastic Discourses and Elements of the Curupira Amazonian Legend through the Greimasian Look”, is a study that analyzes the generative path of the senses in the narrative of the Amazonian legend. The general objective of this research is to analyze the discursive structures of the legend and its fantastic or unusual elements in the perspective of the greimasian French semiotics considering the culture, orality and regional tradition. The methodology was based on bibliographic research, the method used in the research was inductive, with a qualitative approach. The theorists behind this discursive narrative analysis research were: Lakatos and Marconi (2013), who deal with the definition of bibliographic research; Todorov (1980), who emphasizes the importance of fantastic or unusual elements in relation to time, uncertainty and ambiguity; Almeida (2004) from where taken to legend; Fiorin (2011) and Barros (2011) who discusses the generative path of discourse meaning. As a result of the research, we obtained an understanding of the semiological, fantastic and discursive studies found in the Amazonian Curupira legend.
