In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which triggered significant disruptions in global supply chains, companies in the electrical-electronic components sector faced unique challenges. This study aims to analyze the specific impacts that this health crisis had on the supply chains of these companies. By examining collected data and reviewing relevant literature, this research reveals how the pandemic affected production, distribution, logistics, and demand in the sector. Additionally, it explores the strategies adopted by companies to maintain operational resilience in the face of these challenges and how these strategies influenced the continuous flow of vital materials and components. The conclusions highlight the importance of the findings for the sector and discuss their potential to guide future supply chain management strategies. In a context of unprecedented uncertainties and changes, it becomes evident that companies in the sector faced substantial impacts due to the disruption of supply chains caused by the pandemic. This reflects the extent and complexity of the challenges that the electrical-electronic components industries faced in this critical period.
