A importância da poesia na formação do leitor crítico-reflexivo

Abstract

The general objective of this work is to contribute to studies that emphasize the importance of poetry in the formation of the critical-reflective reader. The main theorists used to support the study are: Leal (2014) and Brandão and Michelitti (1998). The methodology used for the development of the study was qualitative, through bibliographic research, intervention activity, in which, through a conversation circle, themes of social contexts addressed in poetry such as "O bicho" by Manuel Bandeira can be debated and analyzed; an excerpt from the song "13 de maio" by the poet Josi de Paula; "corruption, dirt of the nation" by Paulo Ipse and "A giant called proletariat" by Rubens Vinicius da Silva. As a space for the workshop was used the Citizenship Station, a municipal institution of Parintins and through the research it was possible to consider that poetry has an important influence on the formation of opinion of the reader, ensuring a more critical-reflective knowledge.
