Resumo
Construction of an educational technology based on evidence from the literature on asthma for family members and caregivers, identifying the knowledge available in the scientific literature on the subject and producing educational technology with a more simplified language for the target audience. Method: methodological research carried out in two stages, the first integrative literature review and the second the actual production of educational technology. Results: 15 scientific articles were included, 8 from SciELO (54%) and 7 from Medline (46%). Of these, 2 (14%) scientific articles were published in English, 9 (60%) articles in Portuguese and English and 4 (26%) articles in Portuguese. In the first stage, 10 generating themes were identified in the literature review, which guided the production of educational technology in the second stage, which accounted for 29 pages, the production of the Guide on Asthma for Families and Caregivers, addressed within the proposal the synthesis of content and promotion of health. The review showed that there is a large amount of knowledge available in the literature on asthma, however, this knowledge is aimed at the academic public or the scientific community, there was a need to produce educational technologies with information aimed at patients or caregivers. This amount of information contributed to the construction and production of educational technology that aims to computerize and share a qualified method of care for family members and caregivers about asthma, with more accessible and adapted language for a better understanding
