Resumo
The aim of this study is to present reflections and critiques about the
teaching-learning process in physics for elementary education. The origins of
physics education in Brazil were examined through historical research. along with
the superficial approaches to physics by teachers from related fields and the
challenges in physics education, including issues such as the lack of practical
classes.
