Estudo sobre a produção e destinação final dos de resíduos sólidos na localidade do Zé Açu-Parintins/AM

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the production of solid waste in the communities belonging to the Zé Açu localities, analyzing the socio-environmental problems that can harm the localities/residents. The research investigated the factors that generate the production of solid waste, analyzing and describing the types of waste produced and their final destination. What stands out is the lack of support from public authorities and the residents' own disregard for solid waste, affecting the soil, animals, rivers and even the natural landscapes of these communities. It can also spread diseases that come from vectors that are attracted by the incorrect disposal of waste. In the light of the research, we sought to gain a better understanding of the problems caused by solid waste, which negatively affects rural areas and in particular the communities of Zé Açu, in the municipality of Parintins.
