Abstract

The present study entitled “Challenges and Possibilities of 5th grade students in a rural school” aims to investigate the challenges and possibilities encountered by fifth grade students in a rural school in their teaching and learning process. To assist in this research, this objective was separated from the following specific objectives: observe the role of the community and family in the student's teaching and learning process at the rural school; investigate the difficulties suffered by 5th year students in the teaching-learning process in a rural school; analyze the challenges and possibilities of the 5th year student in Rural Education, based on authors such as Santos (2017), Rosa and Caetano (208), Tonini (2005) this study received a qualitative vision, as a method of approaching phenomenology , with techniques and procedures for collecting data in semi-structured interviews and questionnaires, the subjects of this research were: 1 teacher and 3 students. Regarding the structure, this work is divided into three chapters, in the first chapter the theoretical framework is presented where we seek to carry out a historical survey of Education in the Countryside in general and in the Municipality of Parintins, analyzing the process of teaching and learning in education in the field, the challenges and possibilities encountered by students in rural education for students. The second chapter disagrees about the methods used in this research. The third chapter presents an analysis and discussion of the results obtained in the research and a conclusion of everything that was raised in this investigation. It is expected that this research will help in the reflection and improvement of educational practices, which will contribute to the development of more significant public policies and which will promote quality education for all students, regardless of their location and specific conditions, and may be considered new possibilities in your life through educational encouragement.
