Resumo

Understanding the importance of mathematics in the life of any individual and its presence in their daily lives, this their daily lives, this research had the general objective of investigating the possible difficulties faced by teachers in the early years, as well as the content and methodologies used in the process of teaching and learning of mathematics. This is a qualitative study carried out using a structured questionnaire containing 12 questions about the difficulties faced by teachers who teach The questionnaire was prepared using the Google Forms platform and sent to the subjects. Google Forms platform and sent to the research subjects. Seven teachers took part. It was identified that the majority of the teachers consulted have as their main difficulties the lack of lack of materials, lack of family support, lack of time available to plan their lessons, among others. among others. However, it was noted that the answers did not clearly show their difficulties with the mathematical mathematical content taught. In view of these results, it was concluded that the research question had no clear answer in relation to the teaching of mathematical content and methodologies. that there are many difficulties faced by teachers who teach mathematics in the early years. years face.
