O uso da tecnologia pelos povos indígenas: uma etnografia digital em canais do youtube produzidos por jovens indígenas

Abstract

The work presents the results of the research of the Course Conclusion Work and had as its object of study the use of technology by indigenous peoples. To achieve what we proposed to ourselves, we outlined as a general objective “Understanding what discussions indigenous peoples have about their own identity in social media”. The research has a qualitative approach and as a methodological procedure for data collection we use digital ethnography. The option for digital ethnography was mainly due to the current context of the new coronavirus pandemic. After collected, the data was organized for their analysis. We selected three channels and a documentary as an object of study, whose results show that the contents are aimed at denouncing prejudice against indigenous peoples.
