Abstract

The objective of this study is to map the failures and implement improvements in the process of converting reflective tapes in a chemical industry in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, in order to meet the demand for the product. The study method used was the action-research together with the application of the Lean Six Sigma methodology together with the DMAIC and production engineering techniques to ensure the expected results and that the implemented improvements are standardized and maintained, aiming always continuous improvement. Bearing in mind a more competitive and searching for strategies to reduce operating costs and agility to execute simpler and more assertive projects, there is a project that is difficult to implement in different ways. of application on different lines, meeting all safety and quality requirements.
