Resumo

This work has as its theme Remote Classes: experiences and challenges in the teaching-learning process of a 5th grade elementary school student, and aimed to investigate the challenges experienced by a 5th grade of elementary school student during remote classes. The research addresses the main challenges experienced by this student in order to understand the outcome of her teaching-learning process during the pandemic. The theoretical basis of this study was based on the assumptions of renowned authors, such as: Alves (2020), Cavalcante (2020), Lüdke and André (2014), Marconi and Lakatos (2003), as well as other bibliographical and documental sources. The research is qualitative in nature and descriptive - exploratory study through a report on the experiences of the student and the researcher, had a phenomenological approach, and bibliographic research as procedures. The case study and declares, have their subjects, a student of the 5th year of elementary school, a specific school in the state network and her mother as support. With this study, it was possible to understand that they are remote classes and to understand their objective in the teaching-learning process during a pandemic, as well as to analyze the important role of the family in the students' school life during Remote Teaching. It was also verified what are the main challenges of teachers and students with remote classes. And finally, understand how the teaching-learning process of this 5th grade child takes place during the pandemic period, elucidating and analyzing their main challenges experienced, such as the precariousness of the internet to access these classes, a difficulty in assimilating the contents of the way they were passed on, and the overload of activities.
