Estudo socioambiental da praia dourada margem esquerda do rio Tarumã - Açu na cidade de Manaus-AM

Abstract

The environmental issue is a subject discussed and involved in the global and local scope, which raises questions about the problems caused by anthropic actions that degrade the ecosystem. The work addressed issues related to environmental degradation such as water contamination, deforestation and other factors of recurrent environmental problems in the city of Manaus that affect water sources. The present work aims to carry out a retrospective socioenvironmental study of Golden Beach, obtained through the analysis of social and environmental problems that affect communities and users of the water source, in which they contribute to the contamination of water resources, in order to corroborate the management of water resources, in order to describe the historical period through images of Golden Beach made available by Google Earth from 2007 to 2021, verify the socio-environmental and hydrological changes in the year 2020 and analyze the local infrastructure and the management of water resources in the Golden Beach locus. The adopted methodology was the deductive hypothetical, which allows a deep knowledge of the subject and of a qualitative nature. This method is used for surveying primary, secondary and cartographic data, field observation, and interpretive and spatial analysis and textual production. Regarding the results obtained in this research, it was found that entrepreneurs need support from the government to support the functionality and supervision of establishments. In addition to observing the disregard for the water issue at Golden Beach, it is easy to see the oil slicks in which the boats also contribute to the discharge of liquids into the river, where the urban expansion of the Tarumã-Açu basin is under threat by agents who they can bring more pollutants to it.
